David Mark – Commercial Director, Countryside Services Ltd
 
 
David is the Commercial Director of Countryside Services Ltd (CSL) a fully owned subsidiary of the Ulster Farmers Union.  The Concordia secretariat is based within CSL and David is responsible for the delivery of the project through the project team.
 
David has been involved in the agri-food industry for over 25 years.  He has worked in the Dairy and Poultry Industry in technical and commercial management roles.  His current role involves him in a wide range of business area from Cattle & Sheep Identification, Telecom Services to the rural dweller, Rural Diversification Programmes and Agricultural research as Secretary of the Northern Ireland Council for Agricultural Research – Agrisearch (http://www.agrisearch.org).
 
In his spare time he is actively involved with a major community organisation dealing with reconciliation with in Northern Ireland.
 
He is married with two grown up daughters.
 
 
 




Yvonne Breen   - Development Officer, Concordia
 
Yvonne is the Development Officer for Concordia and is currently employed to assist with the delivery of the ‘Partnership for Progress ’initiative which has been funded under Peace II.  The main focus of her work is on organising transnational study tours on behalf of the fourNorthern Ireland social partners, to look at best practice on issues of common interest.
 
Yvonne also has experience of the NI Public sector having previously been employed within the Policy and Research Unit of Belfast Regeneration Office.  During her time in this role she contributed to funding decisions on projects aimed at tackling social and economic disadvantage within the most deprived areas ofBelfast.
 
Yvonne is married with one young son.
 
 




Adrian Gundy - Senior Executive Innovation, Centre for Competitiveness
 
Adrian is a Chartered Marketer and a full Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. He holds a Master of Arts degree in Marketing and has the Institutes’ Diploma in Marketing. He is a licensed trainer for a range of innovation tools such asLa Salle, Wave and Zing systems.

 
He joined the Centre for Competitiveness in 1998 where he is Head of Innovation and Creativity.
 

Adrian has extensive experience in Business Excellence, Benchmarking, Continuous Improvement, Working with Teams, Customer Development and working with a wide spectrum of Innovation and Creativity activities in a variety of industry sectors throughoutIreland,UK and across both Western andEastern Europe.He works part time for Queens University Belfast and the University of Ulster where he delivers modules on MIS; Marketing, Operations Management and Innovation to both undergraduate and postgraduate students. He is a frequent and popular visiting speaker to conferences, seminars and workshops where his informal, lively and interactive approach is stimulating, challenging and always well received.

 
Adrian is married, with two grown up children, and lives nearBelfast,Northern Ireland. His interests include music and golf.
